Quietly watchful and composed, Nocturne Owl captures a moment of stillness—an owl perched among winding branches, illuminated against a field of warm, golden light. The owl’s form is rendered in layered tones of ivory, deep charcoal, and deep purple, giving depth and movement to the glass as light shifts throughout the day. Subtle accents of red, gold, and green introduce a restrained vibrancy, drawing the eye without disturbing the piece’s calm presence.
Each element has been individually cut and assembled using traditional stained glass techniques. The natural variations within the glass—its ripples, textures, and tonal shifts—create a living surface that evolves with its environment. The solder lines trace the contours of the design, acting both as structure and as a deliberate visual language.
