Nocturne Owl Stained Glass Panel

$1,250.00
Only 1 available

Quietly watchful and composed, Nocturne Owl captures a moment of stillness—an owl perched among winding branches, illuminated against a field of warm, golden light. The composition balances fluid, organic lines with a restrained, modern structure, allowing the subject to emerge with quiet intensity.

The owl’s form is rendered in layered tones of ivory, deep charcoal, and deep purple, giving depth and movement to the glass as light shifts throughout the day. Subtle accents of red, gold, and green introduce a restrained vibrancy, drawing the eye without disturbing the piece’s calm presence.

Each element has been individually cut and assembled using traditional stained glass techniques. The natural variations within the glass—its ripples, textures, and tonal shifts—create a living surface that evolves with its environment. The solder lines trace the contours of the design, acting both as structure and as a deliberate visual language.

Set within a solid wood frame, the work is presented as a finished, gallery-ready object. Whether placed in a window or displayed as wall art, it interacts with light to create a sense of depth, warmth, and quiet movement.

Owl pattern credited to Casandra Pavlik, author of Folk in Stained Glass. I added to the pattern by creating the border of branches around the owl.
